Biography

Walid Aransa is working now as Freelance AI Consultant. Previously, he worked as postdoctoral researcher at LIUM, University of Maine, France. He was awarded a PhD in Computer Science from University of Maine, France, in 2015. He is also a member of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL). Before that, he worked in IBM as Advisory Software Engineer until Nov 2011.

Walid's main research interests are:
o Neural and Statistical Machine Translation (MT).
o Deep learning (DL) / Machine learning (ML).
o Computer Vision, Question Answering and Chatbot.
o Natural Language Processing (NLP).
o Reinforcement Learning (RL).
o Artificial Intelligence (AI).
o Word and Sentence Continuous Vector Representations (i.e. embeddings).
